hi Kate,
I found a little package sitting outside my door today, when I brought it in and opened it up I found a jar of preserves. Thank you so much, that is so kind of you. I have been reading about your preserves on M&M and Michelle is practically drooling into the computer, so I can’t wait till this afternoon, when I will make myself a nice pot of tea and have toast and preserves. I love your blog. I haven’t had time to catch up completely, am looking forward to that also. I hope you will forgive me for calling you Kay for the past many many years, Michelle always called you ‘Kay&Val”, or at least that is what I thought I heard. Again, thanks, and happy solstice, Freda

Hooray Freda! I kept forgetting to send yours because, when the first batch went out you were abroad — and then I kept forgetting.
And don’t worry about the Kaye — that is my actual name, after all, so all my long-time friends call me that. And you certainly fit into that group!
I am happily thinking of you with a pot of tea and our grape jam on toast. Enjoy!!!

thanks for the reassurance, I was wondering which was defective, my hearing or my mind. I had your delicious preserves with my tea, yum, thank you so much.
